WHY MARY APPEARS TO
THE HUMAN RACE

There is a terrible prejudice against Our Holy Mother by some members of the Protestants. On this issue - their hatred of Mary worship - I am totally in disagreement. Worshipping Mary has never hurt anybody and certainly not dampened the fervor toward Jesus. In my personal religion, I look upon Jesus and Mary as equals, in the sense they are both human and God, mirrors and Agents of God, Instruments of God sent by God to save the human race. Please understand that God is within all of us, totally and completely, as the Spirit within us, the Highest, the Master, the Guide. This God is untouchable and unreachable by mortal means. Only by praying to this God - even the God within us - can we somehow reach this Zenith of reality. To the Saints and Avatars, this God/Guide/Power of the Most High is pre-eminent and absolute, far more evident than God is to most mortals. These powerhouses of GodLove are so much higher than the human race that they seem Supernatural. There are many types of Souls that are chosen and sent by God; Yoga and Christianity agree on this. In Yoga was my answer to who Jesus is, and I inferred that Mary is likewise. These extremely special Saints are called Avatars. An Avatar is sent for a specific purpose and mission, to do a certain thing that the world needs at that time - in most cases. The world always needs salvation, but that salvation may come in a particular way on the date that Avatar appears. Jesus and Mary appeared with a special mission; perhaps with the most powerful and comprehensive mission ever bequeathed to mankind. In a moment I will speak of their great mission, but first, I will continue with Mary Worship.

Protestants go ballistic at the mention of Mary. What is their problem? I think it is because they want to see Jesus as the Absolute God, completely without need of partners, helpers or peers of any sort. If Jesus was the Absolute God in Eternity, who created the entire human race and looks upon it from above, that would be understandable. But He was a mortal, in human form, sent by the Almighty God on a purpose. He is God and Man, but so are we! The "Hypostatic Union" is supposedly a special thing, given to Jesus alone. This is one way of thinking, but I do not agree with it. It simply is too far fetched and seems to me a rather political thing, to enforce Patriarchy in that God is a male figure, and His Son is also a male figure, and the two of them, together with the Holy Spirit, can take care of all things. No Feminine Divine need apply. Politically, it's like saying,

"We men can take care of everything. We created the human race, and we can take care of it...we make the laws, we punish, we judge, we condemn and we also, from eternity, decide who goes to Heaven,...etc."

This male-domination view is unacceptable, illogical, and anyone who has any sense can see it isn't proper. Only through hypnosis and mind control has this view been imposed on the human race. The earth needs the Feminine Divine. It needs a Mother.

When Patriarchs took over the human race (through war, I might add,) they created a God IN THEIR OWN IMAGE AND LIKENESS. Understandably, that God had a male image. Long ago they were "Thundergods" and "Wargods." These images evolved into the God as we know today - the old man with the white beard, who sits in authority above all things.

But by some sort of innate instinct, too powerful to control, the human race has sought a Mother. After all, the Mother is the Egg, which is a reproductive cell. The male sperm is not reproductive and must use the egg as its vehicle. Ashley Montagu calls men "parasites on the bodies of women." A child gestates in its Mother's womb, is nurtured at its Mother's breast, and plays at her feet. The child is guided,(throughout all of its life in Matriarchy,) by its Mother and other maternal figures. In Patriarchy, Woman is allowed to be the bearer of men's children and to guide them through infancy, but too soon that child is torn away from her to be dominated by males. Both boys and girls are taught to obey male authority past a certain age, NOT to obey their Mothers. This is a conspiracy against the human race, and the original idea of this lies with Satan.

Although humans, in their conscious minds, are obeying male authority, in their unconscious, they still seek Mother. They seek the special authority of Mother that no male can give, and that is the Mother who procreates and cradles us, and who forever gives us UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is God's answer to the requirement of Mother. She is especially equipped to fill the vacuum created by the Judeo and Western World, and She is above all sent AS MOTHER in all those times WHEN MOTHER IS NEEDED BOTH IN OUR PERSONAL AND CORPORATE LIVES.

Protestants want us to believe their version of God can be all things to all people - both Father and Mother, but it isn't so. Of course, in the absence of any other form of religion, just plain ole' male version of "Holy Trinity" will do. But there is another way!

The Saints of the Catholic Church (and even the Muslim Church!....the East knew it all along) discovered that Worship (Catholics will cringe if you say worship...they call it veneration...but I say worship!) of Our Holy Mother created the most admirable Saints of all! Worship of Mary was a SURE SIGN OF PREDESTINATION AND HOLINESS! Worship of Her was a guaranteed way of getting closer to God and Jesus. It was a surefire way of cleaning up your act, stopping sinfulness, and being filled with the Spirit of God.

Why would this be? Because we are mortal, and all flesh needs a Mother! Here we come to the important fact being discussed here: Why Jesus and Mary? Why not Jesus alone? Why God a Father, and not God a Mother? Why don't we just relate to the Holy Spirit, and leave it at that? What is the special need of the Feminine Divine, the Mother, The Blessed Virgin Mary? Why are Jesus and Mary partners? Are they both the same, or are they different? What is the role of Jesus, and what is the role of Mary?

If you ask some people, Jesus is Everything. He is the Creator, the Brother, the Spouse, the Friend, and even the Holy Infant we worship. Naturally, Jesus can be all of the above plus more. He can also be the benevolent Holy Father we all wish we had... where does Mary come in?

My theory is the following: Jesus is primarily our Spouse, who teaches us suffering, even the suffering of martyrdom and death. He teaches us the true meaning of Love by Sacrifice, repentance and death to self. In that, there is the resurrection, and eternal Glory.

We relate to Jesus as we develop. I can attest to my own spiritual life. In the beginning Jesus was a strong Father figure. Later He became a brother and friend (that I never had!) But as I matured and was ready for complete holiness, Jesus became my Spouse. He and I were One. That was the zenith of my spiritual development, to die on the Cross with Jesus in the Divine Stigmata Grace, and after this CRUCIFYING Grace, await the resurrection of my soul and body. Primarily, Jesus taught me to suffer and gave me the understanding of it and the courage to do it. His gospel culminates in the Passion; in Calvary.

And Mary, who is She? From the beginning, Her image remained the same. She has always been Mother. As an adult, in my hardest of times, when I was terrified, when I could take no more, I ran to Her. I sensed Her comforting me, protecting me and giving me strength to endure. She was never the judge - never harsh nor punitive. She did not encourage me to suffer more - she compassionated me in my suffering. She perhaps above all things, was my PROTECTOR. If there is one title I would give Her it would be that above all: PROTECTORESS OF MANKIND.

Catholics call her "Refuge of Sinners."

The difference between Jesus and Mary is that She has no judgment nor punitive dimension. Jesus is purported to be our Final Judge, and indeed He will be to Christians, for by His example or Template, we will be measured! (Take a look at the Michelangelo frescoes on the Sistine Chapel, the Judgment - Jesus with His arm up ready to strike, and the great Saints of the early era all eager with anticipation. Even THEY fear whether or not they will come out clean against the Template of Jesus!

Mary was, (in real life,) and is, (in our understanding,) the absolute perfect Mother, the woman you NEVER FEAR but have ULTIMATE TRUST IN. She will always forgive, understand, no matter how low you have fallen. She will take you back to the Hearth. If you are Saintly and take on reparatory sufferings (like Jesus) she is there, always by your side, whenever possible giving you the glow of Her love. No matter how terrible your sufferings are, she is there at the foot of the Cross, loving you. That alone makes life worth living and death worth dying.

This is NOT to say that Jesus is without such qualities! He has His mercy, and forgiveness, and tenderness! He has all the great qualities of Mary, and Mary has all the great qualities of Jesus! It is simply that these two persons, in the way that I understand them, magnify "Spouse" and "Mother." When we ascend into Heaven, it is because Jesus has shown us the Way. But during the Way, Mary has always been there to nurture us and comfort us.

Concerning "Spouse," not all souls are ready to be the true Spouse of Jesus Christ. This is given only to the most mature. Those who are not fully developed spiritually relate to Him in other ways. To be His Spouse is a tall order; it means martyrdom! But we all suffer, and to those who are spiritual sufferers, Jesus shows us the Way.

The next question is why is Mary appearing throughout the centuries, and not Jesus? (Jesus appears time to time, but the famous appearances belong mostly to Mary.) The answer is because of all the statements made above. This prevalence of Mary is a BALANCE, among other things; between the Masculine and Feminine Divine. Since we have not had enough Feminine in our world, Mary is appearing. We have slid down the slippery road of violence and war and we, as a race, have brought disaster upon ourselves. Every day I thank God for the evil He/She has permitted, and the evil He/She has prevented. Violence, war, crime, killing, has a lot to do with the punishment due to our sins. So much sin occurs that God has to cleanse the world with pain. This brings us to our knees, and therefore, closer to God. We cause war - God does not. God permits it because we have sinned so terribly, that only disaster can cleanse us.

The war that happens is not the fault of every single person on the planet, but many of the innocent suffer by it. What is God's plan in permitting evil? Why doesn't the God who can do anything, simply eliminate all wars, evil and violence? Because of free will. We will to sin, and we bring chastisement upon ourselves. The chastisement awakens us to sin, and we stop - for a time. All our sins bring evil upon ourselves, and when the world is ripe with evil, war breaks out. If enough people are praying constantly, it can avert all kinds of evil, including war.

Prayer can also, I might add, prevent child abuse. Not enough people are praying against it. I prayed against it in a loud voice an hour daily for over a month. Because of those prayers, the "crisis" in the Catholic Church occurred. God singled out the Catholic Church as one of the worst offenders - it was not my choice nor my idea that this would happen. Mary is appearing because as Our Mother, She must PROTECT US.

Do we want war to stop? There is no better image than Holy Mary, to whom we can pray to obtain Peace. Mary, oh Holy Mary, obtain Peace for us both in our personal lives and on our Planet! Holy Mary, stop child abuse! Holy Mary, stop torture of animals! Holy Mary, stop destruction of the environment and pollution! Holy Mary, protect all the defenseless and innocent! Holy Mary, help us stop sinning and bring us closer to God! Holy Mary, stop the wicked from hurting the good.....help souls avoid the wickedness and snares of the devil! Thank you, Holy Mary, you are truly the Mother of us all!
